Every year, the Massachusetts Cultural Council funds community art projects in all Massachusetts cities and towns through its Local Cultural Council program. The year is 2011 and the town is Brookline. Discover some of the projects that were funded that year and experience the art and the art-making process. From creating a mural at an elementary school and displaying environmental sculptures at a public park, to singing in a community chorus and more, the film shows how art engages residents of all ages and backgrounds and enriches their lives.
